Online and Telephone Services
At You & I Counselling, sessions take place online or over the phone, supporting those aged 16+ in a way that's accessible, comfortable, and affirming. This is a space where you can be yourself, neurodivergent, neurotypical, or still exploring.
Whether you're navigating everyday struggles or more complex challenges, counselling can help bring clarity, calm, and connection. I can support clients with:
Low mood, anxiety, and overwhelm
Stress related to school, work, or life transitions
Self-esteem and confidence issues
Relationship and family difficulties
Grief, loss, and life changes
Exploring identity, including neurodivergence, gender, or sexuality
Feeling "stuck," directionless, or disconnected
Managing emotions or developing self-awareness
Building healthier coping strategies
Navigating neurodivergent experiences (ADHD, autism, sensory needs, executive function challenges)
Sessions are led by you. Your pace, your voice, your story. I won't diagnose, fix, or direct you. Instead, I offer a safe and respectful space where you can explore what matters most to you.

What to Expect
Taking that first step into counselling can feel big and a little nerve-wracking too. Here's a gentle guide to what you can expect when you reach out to You & I Counselling Services.
1. Reaching Out
When you send an enquiry through the website, email or phone, you'll receive an automatic reply straight away to confirm your message has been received. I'll then personally be in touch within 48 hours.
2. Free 20-Minute Consultation Call
I offer a free 20-minute phone consultation as the next step. This is an essential part of the process. It gives us both the opportunity to see if we're a good fit. I'll let you know which days and times I have available for this call when I respond to your enquiry.

During our talk:
- You can ask any questions you may have.
- I'll listen carefully to what you're looking for and explore whether my skills and approach match your needs.
- There's absolutely no pressure, you're welcome to take time afterwards to decide if you'd like to begin sessions with me.
3. Booking Your First Session
If you decide you'd like to go ahead, I'll offer available times and days for regular sessions. Once your slot is confirmed, you'll receive an email with a welcome pack and intake documents to complete and return before we begin.
4. Starting Sessions
Once your forms are received, your sessions can begin. I offer both online and telephone counselling, so you can access support in a way that feels most comfortable and convenient for you.
You'll receive a weekly email reminder with a secure link to your online session or for phone sessions, a confirmation of the time/date and number I'll call you on.
To protect your confidentiality and privacy, I ask that clients have sole access to their email account and ensure it is password-protected.
5. Your Counselling Journey
Each session lasts 60 minutes, and how long we work together is entirely up to you. Whether short-term or long-term, I'll walk alongside you at your pace. All I ask is that when the time comes to end counselling, we do so together, collaboratively and with care, to ensure your transition is safe and supported.
