Frequently Asked Questions

Who do you work with?

I provide one-to-one counselling for clients age 16+. I offer a safe and supportive space to explore your thoughts and emotions.

What type of counselling do you provide?

I work from a person-centred approach, which means our work together is led by you. I offer a safe, non-judgemental space where your experiences, needs and pace are respected.

Is what I share kept confidential?

Yes. Everything you share in our sessions is confidential, except in certain rare situations where I have a legal or safeguarding obligation to share information (e.g., serious risk of harm). I'll explain this clearly in your welcome pack.

What happens after I enquire?

You'll receive an automatic message confirming your enquiry has been received, then a personal response from me within 24-48 hours. I'll offer times for a free 20-minute consultation call. This call will then help us both decide if we're a good match for your journey ahead.

How many sessions will I need?

That's entirely up to you. Some people come for a short time, others longer. We can regularly check in and review how things are going. When it's time to end, we'll do so together, ensuring it feels safe and supported.

Do you offer in-person sessions?

No, I currently offer remote sessions only—either by secure online video call, text chat or by telephone. This allows you to access support from the comfort of your chosen space.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule a session?

Life happens. I just ask, ideally, for at least 24 hours' notice, so I'm able to offer the session to a client who is waiting.

What are your fees?

  • Initial phone consultation 20 mins FREE

  • Standard rate: £45 per hour

  • Reduced rate: £30 per hour for those on a limited income.

How long are the sessions, and how often do they take place?

Sessions are 60 minutes in length and typically take place on a weekly basis. Regular sessions provide continuity and support as we work through challenges together.

How do I book a session?

You can get in touch via email, phone message, or submitting the contact form on this website. I will respond as soon as possible, within 24-48hrs, to arrange a FREE 20 minute phone consultation. We can then discuss your needs and whether counselling with me feels like the right fit for you.
